Momos recipe with step by step photo and video recipe. India has generously embraced many of its neighboring countries recipes in its cuisine. especially in an urban location, these alien recipes has been accepted as popular evening street food snacks. one such hugely popular street food snack is momos recipe which can be done with myriad and countless stuffing.


INGREDIENTS:

FOR FILLING:
* Cabbage (पत्ता गोभी) - some
* Carrot (गाजर) - some
* Spring onion (हरा प्याज) - some optional
* Capsicum (शिमला मिर्च) - some
* Ginger (अदरक) - some
* Garlic (लहसुन) - some
* Green chili (हरी मिर्च)
* Salt (नमक) - 1/2 tsp
* Black pepper (काली मिर्च पाउडर) - some
* Oil (तेल) - 1 tsp

FOR COVERING:
* All-purpose flour (मैदा) - 1 cup
* Salt (नमक) - some
* Water (पानी) - Ice Cold

FOR RED CHUTNEY:
* Dry Kashmiri Red Chili (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च) - 4-5
* Dry red chili (सूखी लाल मिर्च) - 4-5
* Tomatoes (टमाटर) - 3
* Garlic (लहसुन) - 8-10
* Oil (तेल) - 2 tsp
* Chili powder (मिर्च पाउडर) - some
* Salt (नमक) - as per taste
* Ajinomoto salt (अजीनोमोटो) - some (optional)


Process

1. For Momos Filling : 
                                     In a bowl add grated cauliflower, salt and set aside for it to lose water for 5-10 minutes. Remove and squeeze out all the water and keep aside for later use.
Now in another bowl add the grated carrot, ginger, green chilies, chopped capsicum, green part of spring onion squeezed cauliflower, masala and mix everything properly.




2. For Momos Dough :
                                       In a bowl add maida, salt, and water to knead a semi-soft dough.
Now apply some oil knead once properly and round it up, keep it aside covered for 8-10 minutes.




3. For Momos Preparation : 
                                              For Momos, make some small dough balls and roll them thinly. Then put the filling in the center and fold it and give it shape. In this way, make ready all the Momos.  In a pan, put some Water for boiling, keep a strainer plate on it and grease it with Oil. Put the ready Momos on the plate then cover it and give them steam for 12-15 mins.


Then serve the Street Style Veg Momos with homemade Creamy Mayonnaise and Red Spicy Chutney.
