FISH FRY RECIPE IN HINDI BY ANAMIKAS KITCHEN


This is an amazing Crispy Fish Fry Recipe which is very easy and delicious. This fish fry also can be called spicy or masala fish fry. Ingredients for Fish Fry:

- Rohu/Katla/Asian Carp fish pieces( 5-6 big pieces)- 500 gms

Marinate with:
- Salt- 1.25 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder- 1.25 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 3/4 tsp (Link to our Garam Masala Recipe: https://youtu.be/1trtejl8hwM)
- Juice of lemon- 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves chopped- 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves chopped- 2 tbsp
- Oil- 2 tbsp

For frying:
- Oil- 3 tbsp



Preparation:
- Clean and wash the fish pieces. 
- Chop the curry leaves and coriander leaves.
- Add all the items for the marinade specified above. Mix it well and set aside for 1 hr.



Process:


- Take a frying pan and heat the oil.
- Now place the fish pieces side by side and fry on medium heat for 3 mins. Reduce the heat to low and continue to fry for another 3 mins.
- Now turn the pieces on the other side and repeat the same on the other side (on medium heat for 3 mins and then on low heat for another 3 mins.)

- Turn it again and continue frying on low heat for 2 mins more on both sides. 




Method:

- Punch fish pieces with toothpicks 

-  Make a paste with garlic cloves, ginger, green chili, green coriander, lemon juice.

- To marinate fish pieces make a paste. Take salt, Turmeric Powder, Red Chili Powder, Coriander Powder, Black pepper, Yoghurt, and the paste which already made.



-Keep the marinated fish in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

- To make the fish crispy and spicy make a thicker paste with Maida, Cornflour, Turmeric Powder, Food color (optional) to make the attractive color, milk.

- Add milk gradually to make a thicker paste.



- Now coat marinated fish with the paste and fry each side for 5-6 min in low flame. If you think need to keep more than the time to fully fry, please do it.

Now Delicious Spicy/Masala fish fry is ready to serve and just enjoy this simple recipe with your near and dear one.
