Preparation time: 20minutes

Momos Ingredient:

• Cabbage : 1 Small (grated)
• Ginger - 2 inch piece (grated)
• Green Chili - 1 (chopped)
• Onion - 1 large(chopped)
• Carrot - 1 small (grated)
• Salt Pepper - to season
• Oil - 1 tsp
• Maida / Flour - 1 cup
• Salt - to taste
• Oil - 1 tsp
• Water - as req.


Ingredients

For the casing:

Oil - 1 tsp
• Maida / Flour - 1 cup / refined flour
Salt - 1/2 tsp Salt

few drops of refined oil
water as required to knead the dough
4 tbsp refined flour for dusting

For the filling
Cabbage : 1 Small (grated)
• Ginger - 2 inch piece (grated)
• Green Chili - 1 (chopped)
• Onion - 1 large(chopped)
• Carrot - 1 small (grated)
• Oil - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp black pepper powder

Step 1

To prepare the dough, combine all purpose flour, salt together. Using little water at a time, bind the ingredients together to form a soft dough. Add some refined oil and Keep it covered with a wet cloth and let it rest till further use.

Step 2

To prepare the stuffing, take a bowl and add grated cabbage, onion, capsicum, salt, ginger garlic paste, green chilli. Mix these ingredients well and keep them aside.

Step 3

Now to shape the momos, divide the dough into small balls of equal size. Take one part, give it a round shape and roll it using a rolling,just like the way you make chapaties. Fill 1 tbsp stuffing in the center of the circle, we will give it a very simple shape,just combine all the edges and make a small potli shape. prepare all the momos following the same process.

Step 4

Once done, steam these momos in the momo stand or any steamer which you have at home for 10-12 minutes in a medium flame.
