Veg Sandwich Recipe - Veg Mayonnaise sandwich on Tawa.

Ingredients:



  1. Bread – 4 slices
  2. Onion – 1 small finely chopped
  3. Capsicum – 1/2 finely chopped
  4. Red bell pepper – 1/2 finely chopped
  5. mayonnaise – 2 tbsp
  6. Pepper powder – 1/4 tbsp
  7. Butter – 2 tbsp

                                                                                                                               

Method:


  1.     Take chopped onion, capsicum and red bell pepper in a bowl.
  2.     Add 2 tbsp mayonnaise and pepper powder. Mix well.
  3.     Take one slice of a bread and spread a thick layer of mayonnaise and vegetables mixture on the bread slice evenly.
  4.     Cover it with another bread slice.
  5.     Heat a tawa.
  6.     When tawa is medium hot add 1/2 tbsp butter on it.
  7.     Now place the sandwich on tawa with spreading the butter.
  8.     Now place a flat surfaced plate on the sandwich. On top of plate,   place a weight.
  9.     Toast like this for few minutes. When base becomes brown, flip it.
  10.     Again add 1/2 tbsp butter, spread it and place the plate and weight on it.
  11.     Again toast for few minutes on low flame till the base become golden and crisp.
  12.     Once sandwich is brown and crisp from both sides, remove the plate.


    Serve Sandwich hot with tomato ketchup and green
