Friends in this video  I will share taste & Delicious recipe -Mooli Paratha

We Indians are obsessed with ghar ka khana and when it comes to such food then paratha is one dish which we rarely forgets amongst those home made recipes. And specifically North Indians are purely possessed with their formation of vegetable parathas. One such paratha is mooli ka paratha. As mooli or radish is an important vegetable during winter season, hence generally this paratha is very common in winter season rather than any other time of the year. So come, let’s check out this simple yet yummy recipe with me Anamikas Kitchen.

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  1. 1 & 1/2cup Wheat Flour
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Water as required
  4. Oil

For Stuffing:

  1. 1 cup grated Radish
  2. 1 tbsp chopped Green Chilli
  3. 1 tbsp chopped Ginger
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  6. 1 tsp Ajwain / Carom seed
  7. Handful chopped Coriander Leaves
  8. 1 tbsp Amchur Powder
  9. Oil
  10. To Serve with:
  11. Butter
  12. Mango Pickle

Method:

For the dough:
Take a bowl. Put the wheat flour, salt and water and then mix everything together to form a nice soft dough. Spread some oil on the dough and cover it and keep it aside.
For the stuffing:
Take a bowl. Put grated radish. Then add all the masalas one after another and mix everything together. Keep it aside for 5-10mins. After that take a fresh white cloth, put the radish mixture in it and squeeze the extra water out from it. Now put the dry mixture in a bowl, add some amchur powder in it and mix everything well. Your stuffing is ready.
For the Paratha:
Now take a small portion of the atta dough. Make it round and flat in shape from the edges keeping the middle portion thick. Put a generous amount of the Mooli stuffing in the middle section of the flat dough and then wrap it from the edges so that all the stuffing should be inside the dough of the paratha. Now make a nice ball shape and sprinkle some flour dust on it and then roll out the dough into a nice flat bread just like roti or Indian bread. Repeat the same. Take a tawa and put it on the flame. Let it hot for some time. Then add the flat bread onto the tawa. Once it is cooked from one side flip it to another side. Spread some oil on the cooked side and then repeat this again on the other side. Your mooli ke parathe is ready. Serve Hot along with butter and pickles. Enjoy!
